Bugalu's Radiant Performance Energy

Well first of all I’m writing this newsletter because I want to
talk about my true path in playing the drums and music in this
world. I am a healer in sound and my sound is the
drums, this is the extension, of my inner life. In my
determination to help all people become happy, the road that I
took to get here, is a very long road full of disappointments
and hard work.
For 20 years I studied under all of the great master drummers
like Max Roach, Elvin Jones, Philly Joe Jones, Roy Hayes, Art
Taylor, and my own brother Earl "Buster" Smith who is now
deceased. Then I went on the road for 25 years and on the
road is where I found Buddhism, this became the love of my life.
While studying Buddhism, and living on a farm up in New York
state. I found some books that talked about a healing art called
Reiki or "hands on healing". I read about this healing art every
day it sounded like something I wanted to do. The next
thing that I heard, was that a Reiki master was coming to live
at this farm with me so I made a determination to master this
great art because I wanted my music to become healing for all
people that heard it. Now, because of my determination to
master this great art all of my wishes have come true. I
thank all of the above master drummers and all of the people
that have helped me along the way.
I now live in New York state and run a wonderful drum school. I
have many students that study with me each week in my home. I
also have one of the best jazz jam sessions in the world today
with all of the top players. I have been teaching Reiki to all
of my students as well as Buddhism and yes my music is very
healing. I also have a love for the computer as this web site
that you are on, I made from the power point program on this my
laptop. So please click on my
